My name is Jamal Roberts and I am a professional photographer based in the Metro Detroit area. I have experience shooting a wide array of different subjects and styles of photography. My focus is shooting for commercial and personal brands. From portraits to products, I want your brand to look professional and exciting.

IMAGE QUALITY

I believe in performing high quality work always. When it comes to selecting a photographer, there are tons of choices you can go with. You can even find a lot of cheap photographers these days that might attract your attention with low fees. But is “cheap” the word you want associated with your brand’s image? I believe in delivering the quality images that will make your brand look like the major league player you know it is or want it to be.

COMMUNICATING THE VISION OF A PROJECT

Communication is the key to a successful experience. I believe in thoroughly communicating with clients to determine the scope and vision of the project they would like for me to perform prior to planning the shoot. There is a series of questions that need to be asked and answered before the planning stage can begin. Once we are all on the same page, then we can go over what needs to be done to bring the project to life. During our consultation, we will arrive at important details such as how long the shoot will take, how much manpower and equipment is needed, how many images are needed, how much pre and post-production is required, what the location requirements are, and other important details. Once we have those details figured out, we can get to quotes and contracts.

STYLE OF SHOOTING

I specialize in doing photoshoots on location (although I can do studio work by request). I shoot with a plan, but I also get the shots that “appear” on set. I like to set out enough time for photoshoots so that it does not make me have to rush through the shoot. I believe in keeping the client comfortable throughout the shooting process. I’m not here to pressure a client into accepting a vision or experience that does not work with their vision or comfort level during the photoshoot.

SINGLE SHOOT VS CONTINUOUS SHOOTING SERVICES

There are two types of services I can provide for a client. A single shoot is simply when a client hires me for a single photoshoot to get the images he/she is looking for and pays one time for the shoot. But a continuous shoot is when a client hires me for a specified period of time such as three or six months and pays in intervals or installments. A client with this plan may request me to shoot for their brand once or twice a week for a six month period and pay in monthly installments. There are a multitude of arrangements possible with continuous shooting services. These types of plans are useful for businesses and individuals that require ongoing content for a strong social media presence.

AVAILABILITY

It is always a good idea to reach out well in advance of when you are looking for a project to be completed. This will increase the likelihood of me being available to perform the project you are looking for. If you request a project on short notice, I may be busy working on another project at the time. However, always feel free to reach out and check.

PRICE

As I alluded to earlier, a consultation is required to arrive at a quote. The demands from one project to the next can differ drastically. So putting out a cookie cutter price list could be very misleading when it comes to the final cost of the project. But please understand that when you seek services by JK AMAZE PHOTOGRAPHY, you are looking for a high-quality, professional job to be done. If average/amateur image quality does not bother you, I’m sure you can find lower prices.
